法雨を降らせ、寺を火災から守る意味を込めて龍を描くのは臨済宗、京都で雲竜図めぐりをした、その続きの旅、なぜ鳳凰なのか。

水面から葉を伸ばしているのは
コウホネ (河骨, Nuphar japonicum, スイレン科) だろうか。

上から「空・風・火・水・地」
from top to bottom, "Void", "Air", "Fire", "Water", "Earth"

小布施は栗の名産地だが、ブドウ畑もいっぱいあったよ、リンゴ畑もね。

おぶせ温泉「穴観音の湯」
Obuse spa
気象条件や時間によって色が変化する湯。この日、内湯は緑色、露天は黒がかった透明だった。白濁する時もあるらしい。湯の花は黒。

岩松院～おぶせ温泉手前までは遊歩道もあり、その途中の浄光寺にも寄りたかったのだけど、今回は断念し、小布施の町並み散策へ。

Tsukiji Hongan-ji was designed by Ito Chuta with Indian architectural motif,
and was completed in 1934.
He is also famous for loved mythical creatures.

阿吽の吽

外が曇だからこそ、今の様に照明技術が進歩する前の時代の構内の採光の美しさがよく分かった気がする。幻獣が良く似合うのだ。

「吽」から「阿」へ。
